First off, this is my first post. I like the forum you guys have going here, lots of helpful info. Anyhow, I've been doing some work on my Taurus that's been long overdue. I have been having a problem with my Driver's window going down. It will go down, but about 4 inches down, it starts slowing down, and sometimes stops. Other times it will make a popping noise, and then roll all the way down. I imagine it has something to do with the window being out of line, or out of track. Anyone ever had a similar problem, and what did it take to get it working again? I'm trying to do it on the cheap, as I just dropped $700 on having new springs/struts/mounts put in.
