94' SHO starting problem...

hi there i have a 1994 taurus SHO and when i start it it gargles...like it revs and has a gargle sound like it is rev.ing to much or something... i dont kno what it is. my first thought was that it is a Double Over Head Cam car so i thought that was how it started and now im contemplating that. i've done alot of work to this car mechanically and is in top notch condition. any help would be greatly appriaciated..thanks

Re: 94' SHO starting problem...

My 93 SHO was making a noise something like that, but it turned out to be the shield on the exhaust that had a crack in it. A little welding and it was all better.

Re: 94' SHO starting problem...

well bertha thats not the case for me... :( ... it only does this when i turn the ignition to crank it over and then it starts and gives a little gargle and raddle (big enough for me to notice). but doesn't do it any other time. i dont know, i just dont want to end up one day having the car not start at all... thank you very much for the help though!
