1995 3.0 with ac,belt tensioner seems stuck.How do you normally release the tension?
The idler pulley bearing blew, the one they gave me is actually from the tensioner and I will replace that one also. Any reason to buy an expensive replacement belt over a cheap one on a 15yr old car? What size torx bit do I need to remove tensioner? Thanks, Rob

14mm wrench, (at least that size on my 99) box end on the tensioner bolt and use another wrench's box end on the 14mm's open end to make it longer for more leverage and pull towards the front of the car and it should move against it's spring. All that unless you have a tensioner wrench, that makes it a lot easier. As for the torx screw I think it's a T55, but I'm not positive.
