We have managed to remove the old struts, assebmled the new ones, We have the strut mount bolts in place inside the trunk, but not tightened down yet. Now we can not get the lower suspenstion arm to lower evenly enough to get the strut back in the pinch mount. We have the spring compressors on. We had thought about using a bottle jack and jacking on one of the suspension arms. We were wondering if there is an easier way? Also is there anyway to check and adjust the rear wheel alignment, I was told we should have this done once the new rear struts and the new springs are in place.

If you have not removed the tension strut-to-rear spindle nut on both sides do so. Also, unbolt the flex hose bracket on the chassis. You should be able to now push down on the spindle to install the strut. Good luck!!!
