BIG ERN

Posted almost a year earlier about a tranny leak,real bad,well almost a year later it does not leak a drop.The car had sat unused for quite a while,the seals must have hardened,after a few stop leaks,prayers, and a years time ,no leak.Now OIL, the oil lite switch above the filter seemed to be the cause,bought new replaced old. That was not the problem,is the oil filter mount something that may have a bad seal or gasket?I cleaned the area carefully and the oil seems to be coming from above the filter and flowing down the filter before dripping off.The hose connections on this mounting area do not leak however I guess I will remove the filter to try to better inspect this area from below,cant see much from above,maybe better with the filter off.If anyone has seen a problem in this area and may be able to help it is much appreciated.
