'97 Taurus GL, 75K miles, 3.0L SOHC, Tranny first serviced at 52K miles
Just recently noticed when the engine/tranny are warmed up, I get a harsh shift when changing from Drive to Reverse, and vise-versa. The best way for you to experince this is run your engine to about 2K RPM and then shift into Drive/Reverse. Just kidding - please don't try that; but you get my point. Sometime I hear a worrisome "clunk". This does not happen when engine/tranny are cold.
Any ideas?
