History.
Recently got the car 110,000 miles test drove fine, two days later transmission quit working let it sit for 2 hours worked again, changed the oil and filter, lots of sludge in the pan but very little metal, did slip when accelerating in Drive less in 2nd using the cruse control did not seem to slip at all, changed the oil again. Friday went shoping came out of the store 45 min. later only had reverse. Let the car sit for 3 days now have drive again..

any thoughts?

Hello
Take it to a Transmission Shop and have them do a presure test.
They will know what I mean.Also have them check for any codes that
are not turning on your check engine light.
