Hi i have 99 taurus Se with 92,000 kms . The service engine soon light has been coming on and off and now it has stayed on!! Is there any way that i can reset it or tell what exactly what this means??? Also the rear defroster does not work the heated mirrors do have checked all the fuses what else can i do??

Take the car to Autozone and they can give you the code number you are getting. With the rear defroster..... you have to get the whole radio face replaced in order to get the switch fixed unfortunately. I had to have that done on my sho.
