Let me give you a quick few pointers to help you out. Open the hood and look straight down by the L. strut tower, a little to the right towards the engine. You should see the shift cable and lever on the trans. The cable should be hooked to the lever. Make sure the eye that goes on the lever isn't snapped off of the cable. If you don't see anything wrong here go inside of the car, remove the steering column opening cover (the cover under the column, not the trim cover on the column.) and you should see the shift cable and lever on the column. Look for the same thing as under the hood with the cable eye. This should be a good start for you, Good Luck!!!
