99 Taurus shifting hard
I have a 99 Taurus DOHC with 86k that had a rebuilt tranny put in at 64k because the overdrive band in the tranny went. Just recently the tranny has seemed like it is shifting harder when it goes into gear while driving, either getting on it or at low speeds. I haven't noticed any slipping and the fluid is clean and clear and at the appropriate level. No check engine light either. My girlfriend drives it everyday and it seems to her like it hesitates while going it at a constant speed every once in a while. Any ideas???
