I've searched the forum and I think that my symptoms equal a bad ABS control module - but still not sure.

2000 3.0 Duratec Taurus with ABS/TC

Red E-brake warning light stays on AND TC switch does not function (that is, won't illuminate when turned off). Amber ABS light is off. Last week the while driving the green TC light (tire-spinning light) flashed on, the e-brake light went off, and when I turned off TC the 'off' light on the switch worked. But, 5 minutes later we're back to the e-brake light on and no TC switch function.

I'm checking connectors, etc but does this sound more like ABS control module or might it be something as simple as the level switch in the brake fluid reservoir?

Have it scanned. A proper scanner with real time mode will tell you right away what the
problem is. And no this will not be a cheap $200.00 scanner. Or you can replace $500.00 or
more in parts and maybe that will fix it. You decide what parts.
