I've got the code 4 then 7 flashing with a pause after the seven on my airbag annunciator. I don't know what it refers to, and I'd like to fix it if it is an easy fix. Do you have any ideas?

Possibly a seat belt buckle.

Safety Belt Pretensioners
As part of the supplemental restraint system (SRS), the safety belt buckles are equipped with pretensioners. The safety belt buckle pretensioners remove excess slack from the safety belt webbing. The pretensioners are activated by the restraints control module (RCM) when the module detects a crash event force exceeding a programmed limit.

Normal Operation
The restraints control module (RCM) monitors the passenger safety belt pretensioner circuit loop at RCM C310b pins 23 and 24, circuits 1081 (YE/RD) and 1082 (YE/BK). If the RCM detects a high resistance, (greater than 3.7 ohms), it will set diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1881. If it detects a low resistance (less than 0.7 ohm) it will store B1886 in memory and flash lamp fault code (LFC) 47 (or higher priority code if one exists) on the air bag indicator.

Possible Causes
A passenger safety belt pretensioner circuit open or low resistance can be caused by:

l an open or high resistance on circuit 1081 (YE/RD) or 1082 (YE/BK).

l circuits 1081 (YE/RD) and 1082 (YE/BK) shorted together.

l a passenger safety belt pretensioner internal fault.

l an RCM internal fault. (restraints control module)

I get alternating, intermittant '46's' and '47's', driver and passenger pretensioners. I cleaned all of the underseat connections with contact cleaner, but they persist. I think it's in the control module.
