Alternator + Lead Grounded - Short? 99
I was attempting to crank my 99 3.0 ohv Taurus to get cylinder #1 to TDC and I for got that my alternator was removed and the positive lead was tucked out of the way and most likely grounded to the fender. When I turned the key on I heard a loud pop and everything went dead.
I took out the battery mega fuse on the end of the fuse box under the hood and checked it for continuity with a battery and a light and it was fine. Is there another fuse that would cause everything to be dead or is it much worse than that?
