broken O2 sensor, how will it run ?

well when i was putting the exhaust back up to the engine after putting in the replacement engine i somehow accidently broke off the front 02 sensor

it is the GL 3.0L SOHC style with two 02 sensors, each one just below the exhaust manifolds

how will it run ?

why are there two 02 sensors anyways ??

and two cats ?

crazy

please explain

thanks
:D

Re: broken O2 sensor, how will it run ?

It will run with fixed tables in the OEM programming.

There are two O2 sensors, one for each bank of cylinders.

Same for the cats.

Your fuel mileage will suck. Basically you will be in an open loop situation all the time. The fuel tables will be the same as if you were at WOT or very rich compared to the O2 controlled closed loop.
