Usually the maker of the remote start system has a bypass available. It would be simplest due to the fact you know it will work with your remote start. I have used a already programmed key and cut the transponder out of it. Can then attach it to the lock cylinder near the receiver and have it function. This is a bit time consuming trying to find a good location but can be done.
