I have a 2001 sable w/ only 11,000 miles. When I shift to drive it's as smooth as can be. When shifting into reverse, there is a slight clunk. It's not too bad, but I don't understand why it's happening at all. I'm mildly concerned about it. Anyone have similar problems?

I would take it in to the dealer. Ask them to pull up the TSB: 01T01 From: MAR 01 Regarding - A/T AX4N Inspection/Replacement. There is a general Recall on that A/T.

While you are in there I would have them review the following safety recalls as well.
