Hi, I have 93 taurus, that is giving me a real headache!!! It has been stalling out on me for awhile now, intermittingly, about once every 3 to 4 weeks or so, I can let it sit for a few minutes and it will start back up and be fine for a while. Last week I guess it finaly gave out and would not start back up, I had a friend look at it and he mentioned several different possibilities....fuel filter, fuel pump, ignition module, ciol etc... well he had a diagnostic tester but we cant find where to plug it in the check it out. If anyone can tell me where this plug is or even a diagram as to where to locate it would be great!

Right rear corner of the engine compartment, around the right strut tower, should have a cover over it that says "EEC TEST" on it. A 6 pin black plug with a seperate one pin white plug with it. You can check basics like fuel pressure with a pressure gauge and spark with a spark tester to start.
