Is there any way to disable the PATS system?

No, it cannot be disabled. Wouldn't try fooling with it either. What reason do you have for disabling it???

It cant be disabled and if you lost it the best way to have it "disabled" is to buy a new one and program it. Once you program a new PATS the older ones will no longer work.

Well you can get a chip and hide it under the steering column cover. Then a regular key will work and the PATS will be stupid.

I'm with mre_power on this. Not all locksmiths can program the key's, that's why he said a gooooood locksmith. The equipment costs anywhere from $3,500.00-$5,000.00 and usually they have to pay for updates every year or two. So don't expect it to be cheap.

Thanks For Your Responce, I Ended Up At The Dealer. With Towing And Cab To Pick Up Car, Two Keys And One Remote For $220.00!! Ouch! I'll Be Much More Careful Now!!!
