This does not apply to ford's but...

My dad has a 2001 Oldsmobile Shilouette. It has a built in compressor in the rear. The compresser controlls how high the rear end is off the ground and adjusts for different loads and makes sure the headlights are always properly aligned. The compresser has a hose so you can inflate car tires, sports balls, etc. When we turn on the compressor, with the hose attached, no air will come out of the hose to inflate whatever we need to inflate. Do u no anything that might be wrong, because the compresser makes a noise when it is on but still nothing happens. Everyone here seems to know a hell of a lot about cars so I thought I might give it a try and see if anyone could give me an answer.

thx

Re: This does not apply to ford's but...

could be a broken or blocked valve or a broken hard-part inside the compressor.
