E85 Fuels
Hi.... I have a 1995 taurus which is a FFV car. It was a state of Minnesota car. The only way I can tell that it is FFV is by the serial #. Being that I live in Minnesota.. I have been told by some to not burn fuel with over 60% ethenol because it may cause cold starting & performance problems in winter months. Does anyone know if this is true? I would like to use E85 fuel. In winter the stations run a blend of 70% ethenol.... summer would be 85%. Iam I ok to use the 70% blend in the cold minnesota winters? Thanks for your time, Tim
