I have a 2003 Taurus 3.0L flex fuel Vin code 2 with 84,000 miles, I had two problems the first was error code P0705 which was the Transmission Range Sensor which was causing the car to intermittently down shift from OD to D while driving at highway speeds this of course caused the rpm's to spike, which uncovered problem number two, when the engine gets up into the 3000 rpm range it will start to miss it will even do it while in park and I rev it up into that range, a new TRS fixed the shifting problem but the miss persists, what could be causing the miss? there are also no other error codes showing up......any ideas?
