I have a 1989 Taurus GL sedan, 3.8 liter. The flasher unit needs replacing, as it works sometime, sometimes doesn't.
I am embarrased to say I cannot find it under the dash. My manual says it is on the left side, above the fuse block. I still cannot find it. Can anyone help me zero in on the location, or direct me to a drawing or photo which shows it? Thanks.

Here's a picture. It is slightly above and to the left of the fuse panel. It is not an old round flasher. It is a square electronic flasher. Note the View A arrow marks by the fuse panel. The View A box is in the L. bottom corner of the illustration.
