FlowMasters on a 99 Taurus????? - Ford Forums

hey peeps, im shopping for two new mufflers for my 99 Taurus that has a 24valve duratec and dual exhaust, im looking for something with a loud deep sound, no rice burner sound, and since its an american car i was looking at flowmasters, but dont know wat kind to get,,,,,so anybody with any suggestions on this pickle please fire away, i have a little bit of loot to spill out on this car so dont be afraid to tell me about the good stuff, i know its only a taurus but i want it to sound like a muzzy, and if not flowmasters then wat else would be good, thanx for the help

Hey i have a 99 sable and was looking for the same thing so i dunno , same engine a 3.o duratec 24v dohc so i dunno! Can u help m2

i have a 91 taurus with a flowmaster it sounds good gives it a beafy rumble dynomax also sounds decent but i would go with two two chamber 40 series flowmasters

I actually own a 99 taurus 3.0 single exhaust and i put a ricey on mine and with just a single sounds better than flowmaster did i had that on there first then a glass pak and now sticking with the rice burner
