I need to mount a frt. license plate on a 2007 Taurus that never had one. If someone could tell me the proper way to do it so that I don't mess up the bumper, I would appreciate it.

you can get the mounting bracket for it, then it is just revited on to the bumper you should be able to see 2 dimples in your front bumper where it mounts.

Thx for the reply. This A.M. I called 2 F. parts depts. and both said just screw the frt plate on 'cuz no bracket was req'd., which I did. This plastic deal on the new cars is new to me. I'm used to real cars - old school. Must live and deal w/ this new stuff...just a geezer, I guess.

I'm not a young guy either but being in the business all these years, we've found a lot less rust with plastic that's not like the junk plastic from my younger days. Glad you got it handled.
