Grinding sound and vibration in 92 Ford Taurus. No clue - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

I have a 92 Ford Taurus LS. Had it for years now, did a complete replacement on the CV joints, passenger and driver side. New bearings and everything last year, recently replaced the water pump. Well I'm getting a grinding vibration that I can feel thru the gas pedal and steering wheel on the highway, and sometimes on the main roads. It comes and goes every few mins or so. and if I jolt the wheel to the left a bit it goes away but comes right back when I straighten the car. I did a quick inspection took the wheels off couldn't see any damage, and the brake pads are fine. Anyone have any idea's? I'm thinking the differential... Anyone have any thoughts?

check yr starter motor has not come loose its happened to me in my falcon

Did you find out what was causing the vibration?
