I will check that out, would that cause a single click with no crank??

...wanna add that I did have the starter tested just now and it tested as good. And all the grounds were tight and good.

Also need to add that I just put back in the starter and it is back to the intermittent problem... It started up fine the first start. Second time it struggled but eventually started. Third time it struggled less and started. Fourth time it started just fine. And finally the fifth and last time that I tried its was making a sound like if you press hard on a wet glass surface with your fingers and make a squeaking sound.

Alright, so I was able to get the car to start by tapping on the starter.. this made me 100% sure it was a starter problem. Went to autozone and explained my situation to them and they replaced the starter. Got it home and put it in... so far no problems with starting the car. Thanks to everyone that helped out, I believe this problem is over.
