HELP! 93 sable battery draining

i have a 93 mercury sable and i installed an aftermarket radio after which now when i get out of the car after turning it off, the "lights left on/ door open" chime comes on. if i tap the column it will stop but it is still draining my battery. I dont think the radio has anything to do with it but i may be wrong. I have put radios in many cars over the years and never had a problem like this. I bypassed the factory amp in the back and it is not connected to the power supply if that matters. I also just had a new a/c clutch and tensioner put on last week but that problem popped up after the electrical problem and i dont think that is connected.
