Help with '99 Taurus LX - Ford Forums

My fiance just put an in dash cd player in my car. Now, my windshield wipers only work on Hi and Lo, my dash lights won't work, my speedometer and odometer aren't working. And after I get in the car and get driving, my car dings at me for a few seconds, like I don't have my seatbelt on. Any ideas what's wrong?

sounds to me that he wired the cd player into the wiring from the steering column. Have him completely remove the cd player and start from scratch with a proper schematic.

yeah just go over all your wiring again when you put in the expensive ass kit that is all it is you just wire mal functioned
