Question Help with bad steering in reverse

So gave my 97 ford Taurus to my brother as he needed a car, now he gets told it needs new back hubs, so I take and do the job for him, as he is on disability and has no money really for what they want to charge.
Anyway find a brake leak in the proportioning valve so has to come from Edmonton, so he takes the car home which right now is an hour or so away, now he calls and says as he comes to a stop there is a sound like the ABS activates, or something is grabbing, and now he also says when he goes in reverse the steering is very hard, like it is not working, but says when driving forward it is fine.

some lite came on the dash, but don't recall what he said it was, but what would be up with steering not working right in reverse???
Any ideas, need to get on this.

Re: Help with bad steering in reverse

Could it be the power steering pressure switch?
