I am going out of my head on repairs to my 2000 Taurus 24v DOHC Duratec...it is now throwing a OBDII code P0356 " ignition Coil F Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction..."
WHAT THE Heck is this one...All I did was Replace the Plugs, and did that gasket set, and it was running really smooth till today.
Which Cylinder is "Ignition Coil F"?? Do I need to replace the Coil Pack for that Cylinder??

Damned Ford Chart is all wrong!!! It's Cylinder #6 on a Taurus/Sable. The coil has Ignition Run/Start constantly, firing of the coil is controlled by by the PCM on the ground side of the coil. Simply disconnect the coil, hook a test light across the coil connector and run the engine. The test light should flash as the engine idles. Next, remove the coil, install a spark tester and re-connect the coil and start the engine. No spark or a weak one means a bad coil.

You guys were right...Tested the Coil Pack, and she was gone. I went to the Junk yard Picked up 2 of them (just in case one was gone), reinstalled it, and Zooomm, Zooommm...worked like a charm.
Going to get a new one from "Rock", an have it as a Back up!!
Thanks again...Oh by the way I put the "TNT" back into storage!!

Just think of all the experience you're getting. Good luck.
Well here we go again...P1409 Manufacturers Control Auxiliary Emission Controls...Ford OBDII code refers to "EGR system vacuum regulator".
Is that referring back to the DPFE sensor, and receives electrical command from the engine computer to adjust the amount of vacuum force applied to the EGR valve???
I bet the DPfe is going again...Or that Pipe leading back to the Exhaust and the DPfe sensor is gunked up again... Any Ideas??
