Hi anyone out there I need some help. My husband is replacing my power steering this weekend well as I type he is working on it, but he is having trouble getting the origonal off. Does anyone know anywhere I can find some tips or instructions to help him? I found a couple things online at ehow.com but really nothing else. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I think your boy bit off more than he can chew. You have to jack up the car and lower the sub frame and hope the hell the bolts don't snap off in the frame. Then lower the
frame and motor and make sure to support the motor but don't let it be lowed too far.
You might have to remove the motor mounts to get the clearance you need and hold the motor up with another support. You will read this and say " oh my god ". but it is not
that hard. Just do it. Good luck.
That is the best idea. You will be suprized at how better it looks in the morning. It will
probably be a piece of cake the next day. Lots of beers also help. ( to a point ). I'm sure it will go all right. Just take your time. Don't rush things. Look,Look, and Look.
