Does anyone have the procedures for removing/replacing this sensor?
Thanks

If it's an Automatic, then it's a 3.2L. Probably better accessed from bottom, should be one bolt holding it in.

Anyway, I looked underneath. Its not looking good.
I tried from the top also, but did not have much luck.
I am not sure what the best approach would be. If I accessed from below or above.....what do I need to remove to access this sensor.
Thanks
Jason
Uh...no. It's a 3.2L. In 1993, when they started putting Autos in as an option, they made a larger 3.2L V6 to get equal performance with the 3.0L's with the stick. Look at the emissions label. It will say 3.2L. Look at the accessory drive belt setup. A single serpentine belt is a 3.2L, 2 belts is a 3.0L. Look at the 8th digit of the VIN. A Y indicates a 3.0L. A P indicates a 3.2L. They bored a 3.2L to get better torque. A 3.2L has 15 more lb/ft of torque than the 3.0L.
Anyways, there may be a heat shield over the VSS. Flex sockets and extensions would be beneficial.

I have researched this and according to Ford there is no auto trans option for the 95 SHO with the 3.0.
edit** I just noticed the 8th vin digit on the ebay auction, a P - WTF?
Please re-read my previous reply on the differences between a 3.0L and 3.2L motor. Like I said before, P as the 8th digit is a 3.2L. I have 1993 and 1995 Taurus brouchures, a 1995 Taurus/Sable Shop Manual , a 1993 Motor Trend article, and a 1986-95 Chiltons Manual (Printed around 1997 when they packed loads of info into the Chiltons books) to prove there was a 3.2L, it was behind the Automatic, and the differences between the two motors. Where's SHOZ123 to confirm this further???

I just sent a message to the seller about their mistake.

Oh I'm not trying to question you, I'm agreeing with you. At first I was thinking there were some 3.0 with the automatic and thats why I posted the ebay auction but then I noticed the vin 8th digit being a P so that means it was a missprint in the auction listing. I know there was no Automatic Trans available in the 95 SHO with the 3.0. Please re-read my post.
