How to reset fuel pump Shut Off Switch?? - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Where is the shut off switch and how do you reset it? I don't have the owners maual any more. Could this cause a problem? I have a thread I posted earlier about this. Thanks

Ohh,, it's a 93 Taurus 3.8L

OK I found the shut off reset. It was in the trunk on the drivers side,, I see a RED button on top and it doesn't push in or do anything. I turned the key ON and still nothing.

If the red button is recessed in the switch, it is ok. Do you hear the fuel pump when turning the key to the on position???

I'm not for sure, but I think he got the problem fixed, (according to his other thread.) It was a bad connection on the fuel pump relay
