Wow, I have so many questions. But I'll go slow.

I drive a 1996 LX Wagon. I'm trying to find all red tail lights. I've seen them on 97 and 98. Will they directly bolt in? And where can I find them? I've searched all over the web and have only come across the amber/red tails.

p.s. Any other Taurus websites you can link me up to?

1998-2005 Taurus/Sable wagon used the all red taillights instaed of the 1996-1997 ones that have an amber turn signal. They are a direct bolt on and you can either find them at a salvage yard or dare I say---new from the dealer. Good luck!!!

Cool, welcome to Ford Forums! I have a 1996 LX wagon as well. I like yellow turn signals though. I think they are distinguished from the brake lights easier.

I think for 04 and 05 when they gave the Sable and Taurus sedans the clear yellow turn signals, they should have done the same for the wagons. Those would have looked pretty cool I think. Kinda like the current style Acura MDX.
