Loss of power
I have a 2001 Taurus with the following problem:
I am driving at 30 m/hr. Suddenly, I feel that the car has lost "power" (not electrical power, but I feel like there's not gas getting to the engine). A second or so later, the "out of gas" and the "anti-theft" lights both turn on. A second later, the car surges forward and continues to drive normally. If anyone has any ideas on what could be the problem I would appreciate it. Thanks,
