Blue'93

Need some help with my 93 SHO (104kmile).

We recently had the transmission rebuilt by a very reputable shop here locally. Everything has been working fine until about 6 months had passed.

One day outta 10 it will shift VERY hard going into 2nd gear. It only happens under light acceleration. (Such as in traffic.) When the RPMs are about 3000 and speed is @ 20mph. It hits so hard it feels like someone hit you from behind!

Now the really weird part is that if you accelerate quicker or make it shift above 3000rpm it works perfect! Also, after you do make it shift above 3grand it'll shift fine thereafter. I took it back to the shop that did the work and of course it worked perfectly! But, they did say to keep them posted. So it’s not like they’re trying to deny a problem or warranty issue. They just don't know where to look for the problem.

I can’t figure out where to tell them to look! We are going to be traveling at Christmas and would hate to spend time along side the road in the middle of nowhere!

Any clues would be greatly appreciated!
