Thought I'd start with an intro.

Have a '91 SHO with 171,000 miles on the chassis and 36K on the SHO Shop rebuilt engine.

Also working on my one owner '69 Mach I Mustang that I'm rebuilding.

I'm looking for a part for my SHO. Need a battery cable from positive to starter. Ford doesn't list them and others want to put in a generic.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's probably discontinued, but try another Ford dealer or maybe E-Bay. There isn't really anything wrong with aftermarket battery cables. The positive cables from the battery to the solenoid and the solenoid to the starter are straight shots each way and don't tie into anything else like fusible links. The links just hook to the same stud as the positive cable from the battery. Hope this helps.

Just take the cable down the the parts store and get a generic one.
