Hello to everyone, 1st post here, been in RV Forum for 5+ years. Unbelieavable what you can learn on these forum's.
Have had my 94 Taurus for 10+ years, what a great vehicle it has been. Just posted today abot a/c clutch bolt missing, and I thought I was the only one with this problem. I see this is a common problem, but in the meantime I simply take a "YARDSTICK" AND PUSH THE HUB BACK IN, and have no problems unless I turn a corner to the left too fast. The a/c has only been vacuumed/charged one time since I've owned the car, had to replace schrader valve,still cools @ 39-41 degrees. If anyone has a simply way to put the bolt in, please let me know, also the size would be great since I have no clue where the original one is.

I believe Autozone has a clutch spanner wrench they will loan. It will have 3 adjustable pins that will fit over the clutch to hold it in place allowing the bolt/nut to be removed or tightened.

I believe there are two different compressors, one has a bold the other a nut.

N620481-S2 nut

If your compressor requires a nut be sure to use a lock washer.
