there is a noise in the steering collum of my taurus and when it happened at fist i had no power locks or windows or steering or wipers now none of that works at all please help me

Have you looked at fuses?

Have you checked your steering pump?

I only say the later due to the fact that it could be a bad steering pump, but if you have electrical issues before then I would look at the fuses.

I dont know for sure but it sounds like a bad relay. The relays are located under the hood in the main fuse box.....well all depending on what year your Taurus is. If it is a 1996-1999 it is located under the hood right next to the battery.
