Which O2 sensor should I use?

My car is '04 Sable GS SHO

I'm now considering to change the O2 sensor, but not
sure which one I should buy from Autozone.

Here is the link:
AutoZone.com | Vehicle Selection - Year

I heard the original one is made by Bosch, so I'm going to stick to it.
(15718, 15716, 15717, 15729)
Someone posted that some O2 sensor does not have the connector
so you have to make it by yourself. I try to avoid that.

Can anyone give me some suggestions on that?

thanks a lot.

I would stay away from the 15729. It's a universal fit and will need to be spliced.

Yeah, I'v noticed 15729 doesn't come with the pigtail.

Is there any difference between 15716, 15717, 15728?

Re: Which O2 sensor should I use?

The only difference is the the length of wire. The 15716 will be the original fit.

Re: Which O2 sensor should I use?

All the Ford O2s I have taken off were made by NGK. The OEM ones are the best. There are discount Ford parts sellers out there.

Re: Which O2 sensor should I use?

Go to the Bosch site for proper part number.
Upstream and downstream sensors may be different.
I recently purchased a 15716 from Parts Authority for $42 delivered.
Upstream and OEM. The electrical connect was correct.
