Okay so I did a little research. Studied my car and think I have the part I need to replace my oxygen sensor.

This is the code I got with the check engine light - P135 - Oxygen Sensor Heater Bank 1 Sensor 1

And I think this is the part I need to get. Correct me if Im wrong Bosch/Oxygen Sensor (15717) | 2002 Ford Taurus 6 Cylinders U 3.0L EFI | AutoZone.com

Verify the 8th digit of your vin #. The part you have in the link above is for a U code (the standard 3.0L Vulcan engine).

I'll add that in several cases if the O2 sensor before the cat is bad, the O2 sensor after the cat will more than likely follow in a week to a couple months. Bosch is an excellent replacement. I have them both on my Taurus and Durango R/T.
