2000 Taurus, 3 liter V6, 83,000 miles, Check engine lite on, Car runnig ok
but something not right, Pulled Code P0191 Feul Rail Pressure Sensor Crkt
Range/Performance, Was checking under the hood and noticed that
there was no FP regulator ? There was a plastic part where the regulator
was located on the earlier models and it had an electrical connection
on it, Im assuming that this is the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor.
It's a dealer only item(Ouch). Anyone else had this problem ?
I'm assuming this part is bad and once replaced will clear up the problem

I have the same exact deal,but running like crap.I replced the fuel injector sensor(pressure regulator).No change,even set the same code again.I hope we can get some info.

I've got the same thing on my car... Just popped up a few days ago... Seems like the car runs fine though.

Check the fuel pressure. if its to high or too low it will set this code. On returnless fuel systems the pressure regulator is part of the fuel pump. Apparently, Ford actually monitors this. Start with the fuel pressure.
