p1405 on 2000 sable
So I got a p1405 (DPFE sensor upstream Hose off or plugged) on my 2000 Sable. Sure enough, the hose appears to be missing. The pipe leading from the EGR valve looks fine, but on the DPFE sensor itself, the right side stem isn't there. It's almost as if it broke off. So I'm wondering if there's something that I'm missing here. AFAIK, the sensor (is/was) working, so I'm hoping not to have to replace the sensor.
I may still try to buy a new hose and try to rig it on. Do you think I should try Autozone/Napa/etc first or go to a dealer and what a decent price would be for the hose.
