Paint for Ford Taurus 2004 (Color: RJ) - Ford Forums

I own a Ford Taurus 2004 (Paint Color: RJ). On the trunk door, to the right of the license plate, a small section of the paint, about the size of a quarter, has pealed away. I would like to repaint this section to prevent rusting or further pealing of the paint. I went to two auto stores in my area and neither had the Ford Paint color RJ. Any ideas where to buy the paint color online in Spray Paint form? Or what paint of Rustoleum Auto Paint to buy?

That is base coat clear coat. Go to a commercial body shop supply house and have them make you a spray balm and supply you with the clear coat. Make sure you know how to blend clear coat or you will see the new paint patch a mile away. The clear coat will run like crazy so be carefull or you will have a disaster on your hands. If your base coat is not completely flashed and dry the clear coat will boil. Good luck.
