Question PCV Valve

Does anyone know where this is located on a 2004 Ford Taurus?
I have the 16V 3.0 L engine.
Thanks

Thank you.

I had seen that before but was not sure. It does seem to look a bit different then the ones I have seen on past cars owned. This does not seem to look like it can pull out and has some type of electrical connector at the bottom as well. Very disappointing as it seems I will need a mechanic for something I have changed in the past.

Re: PCV Valve

This PCV valve has an electrical connector and you have to turn the PCV valve counter-clockwise to remove it.

confused Re: PCV Valve

My car is 04 Sable 12 valves.

I cannot find the PCV as illustrated in the Hayne's manual.

However it really looks like the picture shown above.

Is the PCV located in the same place as shown?

I bought a PCV from autozone, and I disconnected
the tube indicated by the arrow in the picture. But
there is no PCV valve at the inlet of that tube.

Where on earth is the PCV located on my car??

Thumbs up Re: PCV Valve

The PCV valve is in the elbow of that picture right where arrow is pointing. I answered my own Question in the first reply. PCV valve with plastic 90 degee elbow extention is the elbow.

Exactly the same dilemma. I pulled out one end of the "U" tube. I also disconnected the electrical connector from it. But the plastic thing is stuck onto its seat so tightly, no way to pull it out. Is the PCV just located inside
this thing? How to reach it then?

Another problem is it seems the PCV I got from Autozone is bigger than the diameter of the plastic holder. Do I have to get another one?
