When putting the windows up, my 01' SES makes a noise like it is going to push the glass right through the door frame. Should I be concerned? At least I know the windows are shut tight.

If it is a "thud" noise, thats pretty much the "normal" sound. The strip in the upper part of the window gets worn down.....since the drivers side is the side used most, and there isnt any "padding" if you will, to soften the top of the windwo when it closes.

Its sounds like a creaking noise, like there is pressure being applied to the top of the door frame.

There is a TSB for this noise- it involves removing and lubricating the window regulator tracks with a special lubricant.
