I am installing a new rearview mirror in my 98 sable and it appears that you have to remove the door panel to get to all of the screws. I dont want to break something while im trying to pull it off. Could anyone give me some quick tips on how to remove the door panel so that I can replace my mirror?

There should be visible screws arond the door panel, remove them. There may be some screws hidden by caps in the pull cup and near the handle, remove these too. Last, starting at the bottom of the door panel using a door panel clip tool (you can get them at a local parts store) or a thin wide blade screwdriver carefully pull off the door panel at the bottom. I think the top of the door panel hooks onto the inside belt weatherstrip. Just lift the panel off of it. Good Luck!!!
