i need to get the speaker off to get the mirror off and to do that i have to get the inside door panel off and don't know how. i tried prying it off but didn't want to break it, can anyone help me?

I just removed the door panel on my 99 Sable. There are two screws on rear edge of door panel and one on front edge. Remove the screws and then look down in the handle up on the arm rest. There is another screw at the bottom. Pry off the trim panel behind the inner door latch. It unsnaps from the top. You'll have to hold the door latch open while you pull out the trim piece. Once you have those removed, use either a wide blade screw driver or a panel removal tool and pry around the edges to start popping the plastic panel clips out. When you have those loose, pull back the panel and unplug all of the electrical connectors. Then you should be able to remove the upper door speaker to get at the mirror mounting bolts.
