replacing water pump 96 taurus with Duratec engine

I'm going to replace the coolant reservoir and figure I should replace the water pump too. Original water pump (120K).
Is it fairly easy to do once the reservoir is removed and Serp belt off?
I read that the altenator is a buster with the duratec.
Man, there is no spare room with this engine....

cool Re: replacing water pump 96 taurus with Duratec engine

Should just be the bolts, the hoses and it comes right off, removing the coolant tank will make it a little easier.

Do you know if the impeller blades are plastic or metal?
