Hello everyone,
I have a 2001 Sable with a water leak, I am losing about a pint every day. There is steam rising off the exhaust right below the rear of the water pump, but I don't see anything dripping. There appears to be a roughly 3/4" pipe that connects to the exhaust and the water seems to be coming from there (The end of the pipe gets wet and seems to steam off where it connects to the exhaust). What is that pipe for, is there some water pipe that connects to the exhaust?

Sounds like you have a 3.0L Vulcan, which has heater (coolant or water) tubes mounted to the rear exhaust manifold mounting studs. Was always common on this engine.

I have replaced several of those lines. Heat and rust get the better of them.
